Akon to make his Bollywood debut with SRK

International singer Akon will soon make his Bollywood debut in Anubhav Sinha's upcoming film RA. 1. The wheels of the brain have already started to churn with the mere notion of the fact that Akon is going to debut in the Indian movie scenario. This ‘Locked Up’ singer was approached by SRK during his recent visit to US. Sources close to the movie’s pre-production said that Shahrukh wanted an international superstar to be casted.Moreover, recent buzz is that Akon too, willingly showed an inclination towards working with him.

RA. 1 is a science fiction film which has Kareena Kapoor playing the female lead.Directed by Anubhav Sinha, the storyline says that Shahrukh is a computer games freak who falls in love with Kareena. Shahrukh said, “I wanted to make it, and I want to start it. I want to do this film for my children. I’ve always wanted to make a superhero film, but I never had six-pack abs. Now that I have them, I want to do this. It’s not an animation film, as many people believe; I would like to clarify that. It’s a live action film.”
