Opera Mini for iPhone & iPod approved by Apple

Apple has approved Opera Mini for iPhone & iPod, so far only web browser on iPhone & iPod was Safari. Opera Mini lovers now can use of the software for iPhone and iPod Touch devices. Opera Mini submitted the application to apple just few weeks back in presentation at the MWC 2010 in Barcelona. Some of the unique features of Opera Mini is that, it is the most widespread mobile web browser is Opera Turbo technology, which compresses the data and thus reduces the bandwidth up to 90%. So not only pages load faster, but it will cost us less, if we're not on a flat mobile internet package. Opera Softwares claims that, Opera Mini is a six (6) times faster than the Safari browser. Opera Mini is now available through the Apple App Store. for downloads worldwide.



Regarding the approval  of  iPhone & iPod, Lars Boilesen, CEO, Opera Software said, "We are delighted to offer iPhone and iPod touch users a great browsing experience with the Opera Mini App,". He also added up that, “This app is another step toward Opera's goal of bringing the Web to more people in more places."
